Knox Talks: On Littering

I'm in the middle of writing some prose about our summer trip to Creede.

In the meantime, I'd like to introduce a new segment to the blog called Knox Talks.  Why?  Because the things that come out of this 2 year old's mouth should be written down.  I realize that much of the humor is found in Knox's actual delivery, but hopefully not too much will be lost in translation.  Keep in mind that Knox is sarcastic, dramatic, and a total tease.  But he is also pretty direct when he's got something to say. This picture says a lot.

This first one already made its way to Facebook, but here it is again.  The conversation took place in the car on our way to school, about a week ago.

Miles: Mommy, why can't we throw our cereal bar wrappers out the window?

Me: Because we need to keep the ground clean, and besides, if the birds eat our trash it will make them very sick.

Knox (desperate to be heard): Mommy!  Listen to my question!

Me: What's your question Knox?

Knox: Mima and Papu have llama poop at their house.  We don't eat that.

Alrighty then.
