So happy to be here.

Even if it is 3:45 a.m. and we're all up eating cereal.  Well, Lakey is upstairs asleep but probably not for  about 15 minutes or so.  Those are the increments of her sleep pattern tonight and why I've made myself a pallet on the floor in her room.

I'm sure it's a new place, new smells - new everything.  Jet lag.  But I can tell she's afraid and doesn't want to be alone.

So we make pallets on the floor.

Tomorrow night it may be the pack n play in our room.  I haven't slept in two days, and this momma doesn't do well on little sleep.

Still, I'm thankful to be home.

And so ready to see my baby boy tomorrow.  I miss him so.
