When I started this blog 4.5 years ago, it was a means of updating our family and closest friends on Miles' dramatic entrance into the world. Over the years it has evolved into a place where I can chronicle some of my family's life moments - the funny things my kids say, family vacations, birthdays, and of course Miles' many medical adventures. Hey, that's at least one or two posts a year, right?
But these mutterings of mine have never generated an audience much beyond my family until I started blogging about adoption. Some of you are simply curious to see how this part of our life unfolds. Welcome! I'm glad you're hanging in there with us. But the bigger surprise has been to learn that some of you are reading this because you are seeking more information about adoption for yourself and your family. I had no idea that we knew even one family that was truly interested in adopting at some point, let alone five or six!
So, with you information gatherers in mind, over the next couple of days I'm going to address a few of the more common questions that Jeremy and I get asked regarding adoption. I hope you will find it helpful as you navigate your own way.

Looking forward to it! Although China will most likely not be our adoption route, I am tuning in to see how your adjustment goes with Lakey, the boys, and work. -Abbey
